I took my car to this place to get it Smogged.The place was a little hard to find ... must get here using the 1654 Almaden address rather than 419 Lano Street.Adem was very thorough with the entire procedure. He also, checked the Engine Oil Level and the tire pressure on all the four tires of my car. There were no delays or un-necessary waiting involved. Adem went about everything in a very meticulous and professional manner.Overall i had a very good experience at this Test Only station. I highly recommend it!
I had just gotten an Oil Change at Aikens, when they recommended Adems for my Smog Check. They called Adem and he could take me right away. I drove over and did get a bit lost, and as others have mentioned use the Almaden address rather than Lano Street. Adem is a super nice guy and before he even put my car up on the test, he walked around checking tire pressure, oil levels and checking out the engine. I was only there for 20 min, very fast and efficient, and a fair price. Now the car is 10 years old and 100K, I'll have to get a Smog Check every year, and I will come back here every time. It was a pleasure doing business with Adem!
The other reviews have pretty much covered it. I added a photo which may prove helpful in finding the place. There's a gigantic cell tower right behind his shop which you can use as an easy to see landmark. Yeah, a little hard to find the first time, but think of it as a treasure hunt well worth the final reward. Adem himself is a delight and is just as comfortable discussing current international affairs as he is telling slightly off-color jokes!

Took the Beast in for its smog only test and it passed. I knew it would but it was nice to have Adem tell me that it is the CLEANEST older K5 he has ever tested. It was actually pleasant to have the smog done and most of you know it sucks to have to put out the extra money but we ain't go no choice. And when you go and wait at a shop with out any seating area and they are back up and slow it sucks even more. But here you got comfy couches, tv and magazines. This time while waiting I met "Uncle" who was a very sweet man and such a joy to visit with and made the time pass even faster. So bring it to Adem's Test Only the next time you need a smog.
Adem is a nice man. It was a Sunday and I was trying to get my car smogged at the last minute.I guess he is only available by appointments on Sunday but he made us an appointment that same day. We went in and he has this old school 70's type vibe set up where you wait while he smogs your car with a tv and a coffee table filled with magazines. He was super nice and attentive.And he even gave me extra tips on my car care. Smog passed and it was fast. didn't take long at all. I would recommend this place to anyone. I only paid $45 with certificate and all. Good deal

This is a family owned business and it shows in the attention to the customer. Adem is a very personable and is genuinely concerned with providing the best service possible. He does his work quickly but will answer any questions that arise. The pricing is very reasonable and I will be bringing all my vehicles here for inspection in the future.
Took the old 911 to Adem's yesterday. Got there good and early because the previous weekend he'd been busy when I arrived mid-afternoon. This time no line and no waiting. Chatted with Adem some before he got started on the car. What a great guy. Very friendly and sincere. Walked to Mexico City (also 5 starts) for breakfast and when we got back the car was ready. And to my surprise the bill was for $20 LESS than the estimate ($48 instead of $68). How often does that happen! Chatted with Adem for another few minutes while we tended to the paperwork and then I was on my way. It's almost a shame that smog tests are only every two years because doing business with Adem is a pleasure. I would definitely recommend Adem to anyone and will be going back there myself whenever I need a smog test.

It's definitely confusing to get here. like others have said, the entrance is actually off of Almaden Road so don't follow your GPS or iPhone trying to find it. Prices are low for a smog test. 48 bucks! Also the owner Adem is extremely nice. He heard me listening to the football game on the radio and came over to turn on the tv and to get the game on. He performed the tests and then told me that there was a nail in my rear tire and suggested places to get it fixed. Overall, great service and price. I'll see you in 2 years Adem.
One thing I like about this place is that they are up front about the cost. Many places will give you a test fee, then there's a cost adder for the certificate and then more for taxes and more for this that and the other thing. Adem told me over the phone what the out-the-door cost was, why it was a little more than the standard smog fee (I was smogging a 1990 minivan, so it needed an extra test) and I was charged exactly what I was told. Adem is very friendly, and gave some free automotive tips while performing the smog test. My test took about 25 minutes, but only because there was one car ahead of me. I'll definitely bring my other cars here when they're due!

I had a great experience at this Smog Testing shop. I was referred there by "Cash For Cars". Adem is very friendly, and just seems to have a great welcoming personality. I had my kids along, and we waited together in the waiting area on the comfy couch, and chair that he has, along with a great selection of magazines, cold water from the water cooler, and I saw coffee supplies there too. (We didn't wait long at all :)He had a few note cards and letters posted on the wall that were sent from customers, who sent him "Thank You's" for his great service. He seems to be a real genuine nice guy, that I would definitely do business with again in the future (if I'm in the area -- since I live in Morgan Hill, it's not convenient for me). I would also refer friends there :)As for the location... it was slightly confusing at first. When you arrive at the exact address, you actually need to drive around the block and enter from the back-side. The entrance is off of Almaden Rd., by Stone Ct. There is a large sign posted at the entrance, once you drive around the block... and easy to find.

There is a waiting room with a comfy couch and love seat, and tons of magazines. This would be really important if you had to wait long, but my whole experience took about 20 minutes. It's still nice to have the option of somewhere comfortable to sit, unlike many repair shops. Adem was very friendly and offered helpful automotive advice in addition to the smog check. The price was very reasonable, and there were no hidden fees. He even offered me a free magazine of my choice to take home, since I wasn't there that long. It doesn't get any better than this!

TOP NOTCH. The price was by far the lowest in town and Adam, the owner, made me feel right at home. This is the only place I will take my cars and will recommend that my neighbors and family do the same.
