First time getting a smog test for my 2005 car in the Fremont area. I looked for the best deal and saw the $30 OTD for '96 or newer car. Drove in without an appointment on a Thursday at 2pm and I was the only one there until someone came in right after me. I did not print the coupon but instead simply mentioned the $30 coupon and he gave me that price. He told me it'll take 15 minutes so I walked the dog around the business park. I have no idea how the small room with internet access is since I never went in. I came back in just under 15 minutes and they were already parking my car since it was done. I had also noticed that the Slip and ABS lights were all on when I turned on the ignition. Went back to ask him and he said it's just a safety feature which would turn off in about 5 seconds. Guess it's pretty common but first time I've seen it. Lights did go off before even leaving the business park. The place is not too difficult to find since you can follow the little blue signs to the smog test only center. Hope the added Google Map picture help others find it. I would recommend this place and plan on coming back.

No nonsense, bare bones shop here. All they do are smog tests. The technicians are friendly and knowledgable. However, be prepared to wait in line if you come at a busy time. Make sure to print out the on-line coupon on their website to get the discounted price. Extra points for the internet stations in the waiting area, and being open on Saturdays!
Got quoted $45 for a 2000 Toyota Camry. Not bad. However there was quite a line on a Saturday, so I had to wait 45 minutes before it was done. One of the guys working there said Sundays are generally better.
I called two places - this one and one near my home. The one by home wanted $95 (including the certificate) - this one quoted $40 on the phone. $40 included the certificate and transfer fee. There was no line, the entire process took 15 minutes and they have a desktop and internet in their waiting room while you wait. Very polite, very professional, clean facility. I would definitely recommend and return.
After searching around on a Sat, passing up a few other smog stations that were either closed or too busy I came here. The price was a reasonable $45 despite the listing price on the wall of $70.There were 3 cars ahead of me, but apparently since their owners weren't around they took my car in early! Nice! The staff was friendly and kept on assuring me it would be done soon. The whole test took about 15 minutes, pretty speedy! Overall a pleasant experience, and I'd go back for my next smog test.
I called ahead before going over this morning. The guy quoted me a price of $38.99. It was the best price I got from the couple of places I called. I figured there wouldn't be much of a line since it's in a deserted business park and it's a Wednesday morning. I went and of course there was no line. The guy who helped me was friendly and courteous and got the job done in under 20 minutes. I'm a happy camper and would go back again! :)
This place has coupons all the time in the penny saver. (Never pay more than $40 or so to smog). I went once and it was quick, all good. Tried to go back again for another car on 2 different days and no one showed up at the shop well past the posted 9AM openign time...
I found this place on the DMV's web page of test only smog places because that's what I needed this year to register my car. Ugh, I hate when it's smog check time again! I'm going to get a new car just so I can avoid the hassle.. or at least that's what I tell myself every time I need to get a smog test. lol. It was an $80 test. Eh, I've been to cheaper places. No line. That was a plus. I was the only one there so that was good. The service was good.. not over the top but standard. Overall if you happen to be in the area and lazy I'd just go here for the convenience factor.
