I've been to Bayside Smog several times and every experience has been very positive. The Smog Business in general seems to me to be very scammy. As a "Car Guy" I have been through the Smog process many dozens of times with most experiences being a disappointment. My insurance agent Dave from Trident insurance in Concord (another A+ business!) referred me to Bayside, mainly for the superb service offered by their one and only tech, Melvin. This guy is a wizzard and when something wasn't right and the vehicle would pass, he was spot on on his recommendations to correct the situation and was very kool about the cost and retest. They even accept other shops coupons and this to me shows thier commitment to being the best, low cost value in the community. They are a little difficult to find as they are a single bay shop within a little automotive community... but you'll find em! The worst part is they have a great reputation and I typically have to wait 15 to 30 minutes to get my car into their test bay. Take your car there for your Bi-annual Smog, you will be glad you did!
