Even though it's all the way across the City for us, we've been going here for many years with various old-ish cars and have always been pleased with the speed of service and the fair price. It's a bare-bones operation, but they are absolutely dependable.
I decided to try this place based on reviews and convienant location. I came on a Friday around lunchtime and they were backed up by 1.5 hours. I didn't have time to wait and came back on a Monday at 3:30 and saw that the parking lot and work areas were totally empty! I was in and out in under 20 minutes and payed $69.00, which is on par with other shops. Even if it had taken longer, Clement is one block away with plenty of things to do. I will definitely use this place again.
I came here after calling around for the best smog price. They quoted me the lowest price at $59.95 which included the certificate. I pulled up, talked to the guy in the office. He said it would be 20 minutes and then drove my car into the car bay. I played with my phone, checked email, read some news stories and 15 minutes later the the inspection was done.... all for $59.95.This place is not fancy and new but you get your smog done quickly, easily and then you can go home and pay the DMV registration. I highly recommend this place. Get you smog done here!
