Nice guy, professional, can't complain about the service. $29.95 base price with ad from his website. $10.00 additional for SUV. 8.95 cert and 1.50 transmission fee. Then he shows me a letter on the wall saying that I needed a LPEVAP test and he'll have to charge a "little" more because it costs him a couple of bucks for the gas to test the fuel evaporation containment system. So I was charged $30.00 for that. When I got home I looked it up and found that the usual charge was supposed to he about $10.00. I have nothing to compare this too so I don't know the going rate around here. Seems a little high to install a test gas cap then press the on button of the machine. I'll have to call around next time. $89.95 total for 20 minutes work. I should have bought one of these rather than spend all that money on education...
