I called and was immediately set up with an appointment. My smog check went smoothly and there were no problems.The man that runs the place is very nice and courtious.

I had my car smog tested here today. The service provided by the staff was prompt and polite - had a friendly chat about the England v USA football game.I used a coupon from http://sfadvertiser.co..., and paid $40 total for the test report + tax.The test took about 10 - 15mins, and was a pretty effortless experience. Recommended if you in their area.

This is my first visit to Castro Smog Station and it was great! The job is done quickly on Sunday afternoon.The guy is very friendly and very nice. I got a good geal of $44 in total. I paid in cash.
castro smog isn't the cheapest place to get your car smogged but you pay for what you get. I tried to get my car smogged ther but it didn't pass due to a catyllitic converter issue. I got that taken care of and took it back to CASTRO SMOG and got a free re-test and it finally passed. The dude working ther has been smoging cars forever and is very honest, and helpful. If he doesn't think your car will pass smog he will tell you hence saving you the money. I highly recommend Castro Smog!
Called for an appt. and they informed me to come on in. I dropped off my car, went and got a cup of coffee, came back 15 min. later and it was ready. Half the price of others, friendly, my experience was positive.
I had a $29.95 "plus fees" coupon which came to $44. In and out in 20 minutes. No wait. Cheap(er), fast, efficient, conveniently located. What else can you ask for?
