I've been going to Jamie @ Century Automotive to service all my cars for the past 10 years.  Always reasonable and honest.   For the past 10 years, he serviced Volvo S80, BMW 325iC (145K miles and sold), BMW X5 (still have it @ 171K miles),  BMW 330CiC (still have it @117K miles), Cadillac Escalade (still have it at @78K miles). Problem w/ some of the high-tech and recent cars, is that if you don't know what you are doing, not only the repair is not done right, but also something else goes wrong after the service, and person takes no responsibility to the new issues.  Until I found Century, I had these issues with other service shops, and none w/ Century.   I would have amassed a lot of secondary issues on my fairly old and high-mileage cars with someone else (speaking from pains of direct experiences).   Also he has used correct parts and supplies for car (i.e. synthetic oil for BMW, regular for GM, OEM brakes, etc), and let you know approx how much it would cost.  I found Century to be reasonably cheaper than dealers and more accessible and reliable (promised to be done time/date).  What do I used him for so far? - All maintenance on all the cars, oil, AC, brake pad/rotors, tune-up, etc. - Power Window lift problems (all four on BMW X5 over 3 yrs) - All tire purchases (about the same or bit higher than COSTCO, but not enough to waste time at COSTCO). - all "Check-engine-light" problems.  Turned out to be fuel vapor valve (X5), oil pressure sending unit (330CiC), and several other minor issues. I recommend Century to all my friends w/ BMWs after the warrantee periods are over.
