College Smog Check

What a great smog experience. I pulled up the owner came out from under the hood of a vehicle, washed his hands, and came and shook my hand. He got all the paperwork I needed and went back to work. Not five minutes later my truck was in getting smogged, he even explained the whole smogging process while he was doing it which was interesting and help pass the 5 minutes it took for by truck to pass the test. When I went to pay he only accepted cash or check so he gave me my paperwork and let me run to the bank. He didn't even ask me to leave anything behind. I ran to the atm to get the cash and came back and he had already anticipated my change. He came out from under the hood, and he had it clipped to a clipboard waiting for me. What a nice, thoughtful and trusting person. Being pretty young I have never experienced  anything like this. I felt as if my truck was a delorian and I had hit 88 on my way to his shop. Thanks for the excellent service. I will be back! Oh and by the way..... he was the cheapest smog in town. Amazing!

I went here to get my car smogged and when I arrived Slavko (the owner) was out getting lunch but there was another older man watering his plants and playing with his cat and he informed me that the owner would be back and gave me the paperwork to fill out while I waited.. when the owner returned he immediately began to smog my car (no wait whatsoever) all in all it only took 15 minutes but my car FAILED the 25 mph test, because a hose was disconnected so Slavko told me everything I should fix before I bring it back for my retest (which was FREE!) so when I go to pay I dont have enough cash on me and no check book so I ask him if there is an ATM i can walk to, and he said I can just drive and I quipped "do you want me to leave my wallet here to make sure I come back?" and he just laughed and said he trusted me. which was refreshing to see that there are trusting people still left in the world (rare to find in the states) so I went to the bank and quickly returned! SUPER NICE GUY I couldnt rate this business any less than 5 stars.

The guys that work there are incredibly nice. Everything went very smooth pulled in and he told me how much it would cost ($38 for everything) and ten minutes later I was out of there and on to the DMV. Great place to get your smog check.

This year I had my 4 vehicles smog check done here. Works of me.  I recommend it.  Reasonable prices. Very efficient.  ~mike

College Smog Check is very professional, quick, efficient, and is the cheapest in town!  I have taken several cars there over the years, and they always have awesome service and I have always left a happy customer.  They work on a first come first serve basis, so you may have to wait 20-30 minutes, but usually you can get right in.  Remember, if your car does NOT pass smog, it is NOT the tech's fault!! They have been doing this a long time, and know all the little tricks to HELP your car pass smog if it is possible.  Tips: Before going to get a smog check, make sure you fill your tank with gasoline, get a fresh oil change, make sure your check engine light is off, and check your gas cap seal for cracks. If it has cracks in the seal, replace it, they are cheap.  This may be the tipping point for your car to pass vs fail.  Thanks College Smog, you guys are awesome!!
