This was easy, effortless and friendly.  There is (at this writing) a coupon on their website that made it $34 out the door, which is as good as it gets around here (beware of the lowball prices online as there's all the 'extras' they add on.And let me address the review below mine by 'Jessica'...This is an independent part of a larger operation and those people were not part of the Smog Check, probably the larger operation next door.  This is something of a one man shop, but the one man is friendly, intelligent and did his job VERY quickly.

I had been here once before, 2 years ago and was very happy. I made the mistake, however, of going elsewhere to get my smog done this time around, because Culver City Smog Center was not open on a late Saturday afternoon. The "other" smog center did not pass my vehicle for a number of questionable reasons... I drove away suspecting I had been successfully scammed, and I was right.I went to Culver City Smog Center a week later after making a few small repairs (minor and, turns out, unnecessary). The owner, operator was great. He is knowledgeable, dependable and fast. He could see I had been failed at another shop and when I told him why, he was surprised and dismayed. Do not go anywhere else. You might pay a bit more at this shop (take in 20% coupon from website) but it is worth it. There are a lot of shady smog shops out there, only in business to make a buck by using dishonest and taking advantage of customers. Do not trust anyone other than Culver City Smog.

2nd time I've been here; today really lucked out - people probably think he is closed since it's the day after 4th of July but NO ONE there.  In and out in less than 15 min and with my 20% off coupon, only $42.  Won't go anywhere else for my smog checks.

Went in to get a smog check on a wednesday afternoon, printed the coupon online. Easy to find and pull into. The moment i pulled in the guy came out, answered my 2 questions and asked me to wait inside as it would take 15 minutes. In 15 minutes he told me it was ready, I paid the man $34. Asked him if I need to do anything else with the paperwork, and he repeated himself (because I wasn't paying attention). He wasn't rude but wasn't friendly either, just very matter of factly... and that's ok because i just needed a smog check, not a new friend. He did call me m'mam. So all in all, it was a fine experience for a smog check. No hassles.

I paid $42 for a 4cyl FWD car and that's with the coupon. Nothing to complain about here. 1 car was ahead of me and I was out of there in 25 mins. There's a waiting area with magazines. Not much else to say.

Found the coupon for 20% off on their website. They inspected my car and I was finished in less than 30 minutes. Culver City Smog Center is a reliable and trustworthy place to bring you car if you need a smog check. The service was fast and reliable. It was quick and easy.

In and out in 20 minutes!for my smog check!  I went around 1 pm on a Monday, used my 20% off cupon, paid $35 and I am a happy camper.  These guys are great!

A passenger 6 cylinder (or over) car that needs a regular smog check will cost you $42 with transfer fee and certificate with the 20% off coupon from the website.  Quick efficient service although the man working there seems somewhat humorless, but nonetheless highly recommended for a cheap quick painless smog check.

I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. With the online coupon, I only paid $34. Definitely recommend this place.

The drive over took longer than the smog check. I arrived shortly after 8AM and got right in, 10 minutes and $50 later I was on my way.  Badda boom badda bing!

We came in around a half hour before closing.  They were very efficient and you can't beat $34 for a basic smog test.  They were not very chatty, but hey.

Highly recommended for a quick in-and-out smog check!- No appointment needed - Came in on Saturday at 2pm and was in and out of there in 15 - minutes.- Open on Saturdays! Amazingly enough there wasn't a line at all! - Located next to a bunch of little cafes and restaurants - 20% coupon on the website - Awesome price ($34 with 20% coupon including sales tax) - Electronically transfers your results to DMV so all you have to do is pay your registration - Dude wasn't particularly talkative but eh, doesn't need to beJust to clarify since there are some mixed reviews here, it's $30 for a standard smog check and $50 if your DMV notice says that you have to go to a facility that ONLY does smog checks.

Drive there 10 minutesSmog Check 15 minutesLittle dance for passing my smog check 30 seconds I went on a Friday afternoon as soon as I got off of work. I was a bit worried that they were going to turn me away because of a line or because I was cutting it too close to their closing time but not a problem. I went in with the coupon from their website. They checked my car while I read a couple of articles from Cosmo in their waiting room (there were like 30 magazines to choose from). Then next I thing I knew they told me my car was done and everything was under $60. All I needed to do from there was send in my vehicle registration renewal to the DMV because the Smog Center already sent in my results for me. Next time I need a Smog Check I'll definitely be coming back. Hopefully I pass then too.

Had a great experience here.  Quick, inexpensive (with the coupon) and an overall pleasant experience.  Not that I'm looking forward to my next required smog check, but this is definitely where I'm gonna go when that fateful day arrives.

8:20am, out by 8:40 My car is 20 years old and passed (as it should have). A little expensive but worth it for the speed of service and the honesty.Definitely returning... 100% recommended.

The smog test here was very quick & reasonably priced. I went in on a weekday morning without an appointment & the entire process only took about 15 minutes. The guy, Yong J. Song, was friendly and efficient.  I paid $40 total (regular + certificate).   Check their website for prices before you go.

Even though I had my dmv registration reminder for the past 3 months  I, of course, waited till it was due the NEXT day. I needed someplace that wouldn't charge me a crazy rate for just a smog check and somewhere I could get it done and over with in a jiffy. I called a few places while I was at work and found Culver City Smog Center. They only charged me $32 for the smog check and the standard $8 for the certificate. Came out to an even $40 but the price isn't even the best part. The guy who checked my car, Yong J. Song, must have had an extra dose of caffeine in the morning. He not only ran my car through the test but filled out my paperwork for me. With only my lunch hour to spare I was in & out of there in 20 minutes!!! I didn't even have enough time to read through all their certifications posted on their wall. I barely had time to glance at the sweetest comments written on thank you cards inside their waiting room. Thank you Mr. Song for your fast & friendly service. I was back at my office with enough time to register my car online. I even had enough time to get lunch on the way back. No smog here! The civic passed!!!
