Great experience for me. They were very kind and (unlike all the shops I visited before) they asked a lot of questions and tried to troubleshoot the problem with me. In a couple of hours they did the repairs and I spent 170$ for a job that was quoted over 600$ at the Chevrolet dealer.
Beware of its "flexible" pricing scheme! Similar experience like a previous reviewer. The bill was $59.95. I took another car here previously before and that time I called ahead and the price for a smog check was $39.95. It was a bummer for this "flexible" pricing scheme but it is still $10 cheaper than JP Automotive on the other end of De Anza Blvd. The test was quick and it was done while I wait. In two years, I will definitely call ahead and get a committed price before I came.
Smog pros is located off of De Anza Blvd and is directly across from the Apple Campus. I dropped my car off since it is very close to my place of work. Smog Pros will take your car starting at 7:00 am and can guarantee that it will be done by end of day if you need it smogged or general maintenance. I like that they give a %10 discount to persons who work near the shop. The owner is very friendly and will let customers who are regulars drop their car off even earlier than opening if need be. Smog and general maintenance costs start at $49.99
