I've been coming here since 2004 or so.  I love the fact that they work on classics.  I don't drive anything newer than 1983, never will.If you ever see me puttin around town in some plastic bubble with 17 inch hot wheels rims shoot me!OK, years of great service, I get rides home, stuff done for free if it wasn't done right the first time (I never even gave that offer on Santa Monica Blvd back in 1979 when I was a twink).If you strip your gears over in Hollywood then drag those lug nuts over to Glendale.  They won't laugh I promise.

After getting burned by the Midas across the street on my last car repair, I checked out Dyrness Automotive.  The owner is pleasant and helpful, and they were able to fix my broken starter on the same day.   I've been told that this shop is a little bit more expensive than others, but I am willing to pay a bit extra for the honesty, good work and quick service.

I have used them for years on a variety of cars. Always fixed well with no returns required, prices fair, times reasonable, very capable honest guys. Jim Dyrness has been in business in Glendale in one place or another for over forty years. I refer without hesitation.

I recently had a major problem with my vehicle.  I took it to Dyrness Automotive.  I was helped by Jack (one of the owners) and he told me what the problem was and how much it was going to take to fix my car.  My car was done within a few hours.  I appreciated their honesty and helpfulness.  I will always take my car there and refer my other friends.  Thanks Dyrness Automotive.
