I typically visit my dealership (Michael Stead) for any work regarding my Pontiac. They've always taken care of me, know me by name and I've been utilizing the services of MS for years now. But, I recently needed to have the harmonic balancer (never knew that part existed!) replaced, and the dealership was way out of my price range. I reluctantly shopped elsewhere (because we all know that sometimes, you get what you pay for). My mother had used Four Corners in the past once, so I scheduled an appt. They were able to get me in immediately and quoted me $300 (funny, that's $700 less than the dealership).The boys in the auto shop were easy to work with and pleasant enough. Unfortunately, we hit a snag after they replaced the harmonic balancer and my car began running wonky the moment I drove off the property. I was frustrated, of course. I brought it back a couple days later and they replaced the replacement part, and it's been running beautifully ever since. Total price: $305. Nice.I appreciate how the mechanics worked closely with me in order to figure out why my car wasn't running properly both the first and the second time around. They were also very fast with their service and one mechanic even offered me a ride to work. I give them three stars only because it was a hassle to have anything go awry in the first place, but I'd probably use their services again.
