Lately, they have hired some young girl/guy to work at their front desk; I find them pretty unprofessional, their attitude was more like "you take it or leave it", they even refused me taking to the owner when I asked for him (especially on the phone, rude!). That's why two stars off. Will I go back? Well, if I indeed need to, I would go there in person and talk to the owner or the real Tech to avoid talking to the young kids.
A typical 4 quart oil change here only costs $20 flat. You can't beat that. Normally when my car needs an oil change I just come here. I believe they use Pennzoil. They don't take appointments for oil changes so it's first come first serve. I have never waited long, maybe about 30 minutes at the most. They don't try to pester you about purchasing this and that. You just come, drop off your keys, wait a little, pay, and leave. No hassle whatsoever. The service is so so. The employees don't bother socializing with anyone or maybe it's just me because I'm young. I think their restroom needs to be maintained more often because they don't have soap in the dispenser nor do they have paper towels or sanitation covers. Also, they need to clean their ceilings inside their waiting room. It's full of webs and spiders.Other than that, if you're looking for a cheap and good quality oil change, this is the place for you. Bring Cash!
Tried very hard to fix the front axis of my 2nd hand Altima, excellent service!

I have been visit this shop for my auto needs for the past two years. This is by far the best auto shop I have ever been to. The owner Alex is great and actually care about saving customer money. I have been coming here for car maintenance, AC repair, tire and battery changes so far. Most of time, I drop off my car for a day for the service and Alex were nice enough to give me a ride back my place. Expect a bit more wait time if you plan to wait in the shop before your car is ready due to it's popularity. One last note, Alex even does rebate for me when I was here last time for tire change. Great people make great shop :)
This place deserves a 5 star. My family and I have been coming here for years. We trust the owner Alex 100% with our cars. Whenever we have car trouble we always come to this spot. What I like about this place is that they're really honest with you. If something can't be fixed they will let you know so that you don't waste your money.Recently I got all 4 tires changed for my Subaru. While in the process of doing that Alex also found some other problems with my car. He called me right away to let me know and also gave me many different kind of options. He also had the price ready for me. Since I'm a fresh graduate out of college he made it really cheap for me. He reduced the labor by a lot. I left the place paying about $1300 for all 4 tires, alignment, the wheel bearing, front and back brakes, windshield wiper tank, and labor.
Not the place, I prefer to go next time. Cons: 1. Have to wait a lot to get any attention. They are super busy people. I would prefer to go at place where my problem are listened and understood properly. 2. They charge almost same as others. 3. No proper car cleaning after service. 4. Have to take appointment a week ago. 5. They said my brake needs new rotors in estimate, but other mechanic fixed it after resurfacing the rotors. 6. They are so busy that they get time for your car only when you go to collect it. My air filter was not replaced when I went and the guy who fixed hurried it and did not put it properly. 7. Parts are costly compared to internet prices. 8. They said my rear suspension has gone bad and produces sound. I don't hear any sound as well as other mechanics said its fine and no issues with suspension. Pros: 1. Explains you well what is problem and what needs to be done. 2. Give detailed estimate quickly. 2 stars, because I got my car fixed though paying more and not getting good service and attention. UPDATE: Upgrading rating to 3* because after visiting many other places, I found they are quiet OK in their domain of work.

My husband and I have been taking our cars here for oil change, regular maintenace and repairs for 12 years now. Alex has been a very honest and professional business owner/mechanic. They give you EXCELLENT SERVICE and the PRICE IS RIGHT.
I just went in for a simple oil change so nothing major or complicated. I thought the price was pretty high for just an oil change even though I use synthetic on my Audi S4, which took 7 quarts. Hard to review a place just based on an oil change but will consider this place in the future. The techs really didn't give me any extra pointers like I've read some reviewers received. I don't need much but just had that in mind to see if they would volunteer any insight on my car. The only thing they did say is that my car is difficult to work on. I've heard that many times about S4's, and Audi's in general. But again, I went in just for a simple oil change. Other than the price, I left satisfied.
Car is paid off, but sadly my warranty has also lapsed. Just my luck, my scheduled maintenance is coming up and I have a warning "Check brake lights". Stroll to the dealer and they have me step on the brakes, "Lights are all working, may be the copper corrosion in the housing of the brakes, it'll be $175 just to open up the trunk and diagnose, then $650 to replace the housing." Hmm...NO THANKS!!! Called my momma to tell her my tales of woe. She mentioned that the family goes to a local trustworthy Auto Shop right here in Fremont. Called 'em up, waited for a few minutes and then got diagnosed for FREE by Alex. All my car needed was LIGHTBULBS. Price? $6!!! YES, the dealer has the frou frou stuff: wifi, leather armchairs, a flatscreen, fresh donuts/bagels, coffee and tea, FUAS has a Kern's Nectar vending machine and dated cornflower blue velour couches. I'm trying to save a BUCK, so what?!?! I'm coming back for my scheduled maintenance, the dealer quoted me $650, FUAS quoted me a THIRD of that-no FREE loaner car, but they have a deal w/Hertz, $30/day rentals. No more DEALER for me!!!
I have to back up everyone else statements about this place. I took my 2004 ML350 for a funny noise that I couldn't describe (turned out it was a leaking power steering pump). Instead of just selling me the pump and services, Dickson checked the open recalls and recommended that I take the car to a Mercedes dealer, to see if they would check the pump hoses (which were also under warranty) to see if that would improve the problem before he did any work. I admitted to him that I hated going to the local MB dealer, and asked him to just let me pay for him to do the work, but he wouldn't do it, as he wanted me to give them a chance to do the work without charge. (As a side note, my trip to MB was a nightmare, AGAIN, but I don't think its worth having me write another bad review for them). After picking up my car, whatever they did actually fixed the horrible noise that the pump was making, but I still am going to take it back to them to get replaced. Its nice to think that there are mechanics out there who are just straight up and honest.
I m struggling with 5 or 4 stars. Reason: alex is great. he is a really honest person. plus, he always spends time to explain the problems to you. i've been many auto shops, and no one ever did that. but i don't know like the other guy, dixon at all, and he would be only the reason that i would drop the rating to 4. i would definitely stay away from him and wait till alex.

Service here is top notch, and very very reasonable. They are honest and dependable. Me being a female makes me very wary of auto shops and if they're out to pull one over me so I always run to my closest male friend (who is fairly knowledgeable about cars) and get his yay or nay. Everytime I've gone there, which now has been about 2 years, I go and get the diagnostic, run back to my male friend and get his opinion and have gotten the thumbs up that it's reasonable. And when I get something repaired, it doesn't have recurring problems.
