The DMV provides you with a list of shops in the SouthBay Area to go to for break & lamp this list is in need of revision badly after calling several shops for brake & lamp getting the run around I found J SPEED AUTOWORKS the name says it all the guy who answered was friendly told me he could take my car in and service it upon arrival took note that the mechanic was courteous, friendly and although busy work in an efficient manner to get me in and out without feeling rushed oh I almost forgot to mention best prices hands down some of the competitors are downright outrageous and take far too long to service your car this is good look for break & lamp service.   Thanks,Diva in a Lexus

Came here for my SMOG check after searching in the area for the best price.  I compared prices across 4 difference places in the area, and decided on this place.  This place charges $45.00 flat, out the door, without any coupons or haggling.  And they do it quickly too.  Not much else to say other than the next time I need a SMOG, I'm taking my car here.  I'd recommend that you do the same for the best price and fast service in this area.

Very quick service.  A total of 15 mins from the time I drove up to the time I left.  I called ahead and asked for a price, they quoted $45, which is $25 less than posted on their walls.  I left paying exactly $45, tax and everything was included in that price.  Great deal, great service, and fast.  Can't get any better.

If you want fast, quality service, go here! Their prices are very reasonable, including the cost for parts. Friendly's Smog Check is one of those tucked great smog/repair shops that fewer people know about. It was less busy because of it. I will definitely go there the next time I need something for my car.
