I had heard about this place from a friend who was a fan. I had been taking my car to the dealership, and it was getting $$$$. I just needed an oil change. I brought it into Galaxy. They had it finished in 30 minutes. I asked them to check my front brakes, and they said everything was a-okay. Friendly and quick and I still had extra money to eat for the week!
I've been using Galaxy Automotive since at least 2000, and have always been satisfied with the quality of work performed. The mechanics who worked on my cars are highly qualified professionals and I've never had to return my car for sloppy, negligent work. I find their honesty very comforting, especially in these tight economy. I recommend them to anyone who asks me for a mechanic.
This is the only place I will take my car now to be fixed. These guys are the most honest mechanics in orange county. I brought my car in for an oil change, and when I went to go pick it up they told me there were a few things that needed attention. They told me my back brakes and back tires would need to be replaced, but they still had some life on them. I have never been to an auto shop that told you to come back later to fix things, usually they push you to fix everything right there on the spot. Their pricing is very reasonable and they offer very quick service. Just be sure to drop your car off first thing in the morning. This shop has a large following, so it is usually packed on the weekends.
