Quick cheap and fast smog check. I bring all my cars here, don't expect hella great customer service since it is only a smog check. I ask for the coupon from the internet without even printing it out and they give me the coupon price its great!Repeat offender guaranteed!
Nice place to bring your car for a smog check around East foothills. The owner is very helpful and give some tips if your car would not pass smog check. Normally you can grab a coupon and it would cost something around $40 with free retest which is pretty good price for a smog check only.I highly recommend this place. Normally it's hard to find a good service around East San Jose but this place is trustful, the owner is very careful with cars and courteous. I was very satisfied last time I've been there and would not hesitate to bring my Porsche again.Test normally takes about 20-30 minutes, there is an office where you can wait. Normally there are not many cars waiting in line, maybe one or two.
I found this place through the penny saver mailing. the map in the ad was a little confusing. It's next to chase bank, in a row with several other mechanic-related shops. their regular smog rate is about 46$. with the $15 off ad, plus the 8.25$ certificate fee, it was $40 even. I came in on a weekday evening, i was able to go right in. my car didn't pass, because it had been sitting in a garage for several years. the owner told me to go out and drive 30 or 40 miles continuously to reset the computer, then come back. I came back the next day, passed quickly and was out the door in less than half an hour. everything went smoothly and the owner was very helpful. he had another employee assisting him who didn't say anything to me. you can wait in the lobby area next door to the garage.
