Went in for a smog check and surprise surprise... Failed.And yes I was upset. However, it wasn't anyone's fault but my own.Tan was very professional about his work and gave me a discount on the failed test, was very nice of him.I read on a review here that if the test failed I'd get a retest for free but that wasn't the case. Instead, Tan gave me a half price retest.Even though it cost me about $80 for a test and a retest, I would gladly redo it here. The test was quick and painless. I was in and out in less than 25 minutes, and that was because there was someone ahead of me.Highly recommend this place despite the above average test cost.

As a girl who knows nothing about cars, getting a smog check here was quick, easy, and not too scary. I felt a little sketchy driving up to an open garage door, since I'm used to more of an office type setting, but the guy who owned the place seemed really trustworthy and did his work quickly and efficiently. It was a relatively pain free experience and cost me about $50 (for my 1992 explorer). It was nice because he electronically sent in my results, so I didn't have to mail them myself.I would definitely go here again!

I work in Sorrento Valley, and this place is about 7 minutes from my work.  I was in and out in 10 minutes, and no one in my office even realized I was gone!The guy who ran the test was really nice as well. Fantastic!

Tim is the man.  He's been running this shop for years and a complete professional.  Highly recommend if you need a Smog Check!

My smog check here took less than 15 minutes. I ended up having to pay $51 so I don't know if the price increased or mine was higher because of the type of car I have (high emissions vehicle, sigh). The owner was pretty friendly, chatted with him for a little bit before I went on my way.The front of this place can't be seen from the streets so look for the sign and pull into the alleyway as it's near the end of it.

I've brought both of my cars to this facility and I will for any future smog check needs.  The check is fast and painless.  Sit down and find a magazine and by that time the check is probably done!
