Took my car in for a smog check and was very happy with the service I received. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, one of the mechanics even offered me his jacket to wear because it was raining/hailing so hard. Gina was very pleasant to talk to on the phone as well. Speed and price of service was timely and reasonable. Because of the kindness and hospitality they offered today, you can bet I will be a repeat customer for years to come!

So far so good.
Thank God for this place. BF's car crapped out just as Memorial Day/Graduation weekend was kicking off and we embarked on this three-day ordeal with AAA to try and get it fixed. Yesterday morning we finally got int towed in to Gina's, which we randomly picked off of a list because it was closest. The prices were reasonable, the staff was knowedgeable and pleasant, and we got the car back by the end of the day. You can't ask for better service.
Recently went here to get my car fixed for some smog issues. Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Adele smogged my car for free after the repair and even drove it for me ahead of time to make sure it passed! Gina is very sweet too, and I like that the business is run by a woman, it makes me feel more comfortable that I won't get taken advantage of. They are a little pricey, (hence the 4 stars instead if 5) $287 alone just to diagnose the problem. But judging that I had a horrible experience recently at another repair shop, I'd rather shell out a little more dough to ensure that the repairs are done properly. Now all I have to do is go to the DMV and renew my registration, Adele did everything else for me! Thank you!
I left this place very happy despite spending money to repair my car. Her rates are reasonable and she seems very knowledgeable in what she does. She gave me a warranty which backs up that if she messed up, she will fix it for free. And she also did some minor nicks and pics for free. I did pay about 1g for a new clutch, but again, I left happy, and I really think it was Gina and her staff being good honest and flexible people.Hopefully, I will not have to return soon, but if I do, or if anyone needs a recommendation, I will for sure recommend Gina's auto shop (which also happens to be a gas station, but don't let that turn you off, she is a good mechanic).
"Not just any 76. Ocean Avenue 76."God I love that commercial.
I agree with the other authors of reviews here... A review of a GAS STATION?!?! Well, I'm joining the club because Gina and her staff kick MAJOR *SS!!!I brought my car in today a little before 1pm to get my power steering repaired and I got it out of there before 3:30pm!! Gina has wonderful energy and kept me smiling through my entire ordeal. She also assures her customers that they WILL NOT get ripped off. As a woman, I've experienced very condescending automotive technicians trying to get me to fix a billion other unnecessary things under the hood that I KNOW for a fact don't need to be touched. I've worked with cars a little and I've been taught the basics on what goes on. It's very frustrating and I bet Gina knows about it. I love that she gets down and dirty with those cars... she better, she's been doing it for almost 30 years! She knows her moto.I applaud her and everyone involved in her business. Refer EVERYONE in SF to this lady if they need car maintenance - or even gas!! She gives a discount if you pay in cash!5 stars all the way.
