My mother and I have been coming to this gas station, for everything from actual gas to mechanical repairs, for as long as I can remember.  I have known Mir since I was a little girl, and when I turned 16 and began taking in my own car, there was no other place I would dream of taking it.  The service here is amazing- the guys are friendly, professional, honest and hardworking.  I don't know anyone else in the auto industry that I can say that about.A few years ago I was having problems with my windshield wipers, and after fixing them, Mir put a special coating on the windshield that helped repel water- not sure what it was, but it was like magic- you barely need to use your wipers with that stuff.  Years later I asked him about it, and he said he didn't have any in the shop, but he had some at home and would bring it in for me.  So, so sweet- and he didn't even charge me for it.  Everyone from the attendants to the lady behind the counter have been working there for years,  and you can't find nicer people in the auto industry if you tried.  This station has become like family for my mother and I- if you're looking for quality service, nice, honest people who will remember you and your car for decades, this is the place.  I heart you guys!

four stars. i sure am a fan!! i take long walks during my lunch breaks at work and it is always a pleasure hearing classical music blasting from the chevron station. when you expect the blaring sounds of that obnoxious song "GASOLINA" or something of the hyphy sort, it is refreshing to hear something classical. four stars for music.

I have been buying my gas here for many years. When my usual service place (Ellis Brooks) shut down, I moved my business to PHC. Good service and the price was less than Ellis Brooks, so that was a bonus. I am disabled, and the guys always honor the rule to pump my gas at self serve price. And the car wash was super...my car has not looked this good since the day I bought it.

I think this place is marvelous for one reason: they play classical music. for some reason, it just makes pumping gas that much more "enjoyable". and since i live nearby, i even appreciate walking up the street in the evening on my way to mollie stones and hearing the music...

If you're like me, you know how to put gas in your car and when you're feeling particularly mechanical, add oil or even washer fluid.   For anything else, I call Pacific Heights Chevron for help!  My car, a 1993 Toyota Corolla now has 272, 000 miles (that's right, 272,000 miles!) on it so it's a regular "patient" of the PH Chevron station.  What I like about the folks at PH Chevron, especially, Vin, mechanic extraordinaire, is they fix the problem, don't oversell or speak down to you like you don't know anything (even though you may be clueless).  When I first came to SF seven years ago, I didn't have a lot of money.  PH Chevron agreed to do repairs in stages which prevented me from having any breakdowns on the road and allowed me to budget accordingly.  If you need a good, trustworthy mechanic, stop by and see the folks at PH Chevron.  Don't buy gas there 'cuz it's so expensive, after all it is Pacific Heights.  Any mechanical repairs are worth their weight in gold though because you get peace of mind and smooth running car.

Without a doubt, the most honest, courteous, professional place I ever had my car repaired. Mir, the service manager (?), is top notch.  Really knows how to make things right.  Yes, like others said, the Shell station across the street is cheaper, but I usually patronize Chevron because the guys have been so amazingly great.  Since the prices are all posted at every gas station, I know what's up and I prefer to go to these guys.  But it is their service and maintenance/repairs that I have trusted.  (I hate cars, BTW, and really wish I could fly. But that's another story...) I know that one of the owners is very active in SF, especially in the small business association.  That makes a difference about where I want to spend my money.  So when you need car stuff, call Mir or Dave!!!
