I needed to get an oil change and wasn't sure where to get it done. After looking at a couple reviews, I decided to give this place a try. When I drove my car in, the guy took a look under my hood and said that it would be beneficial for me to not only get my oil change but the interior of the case (?) cleaned out since there was a lot of old oil build up. I called up one of my carhead friends and he said not to do it. I told the guy working there that I wasn't going to be doing the extra cleaning, then we ended up talking about the most random myriad of subjects from Japanese in WWII to various types of cars. After he had worked on my car and did my oil change, he told me that he had thrown in the cleaning of the oil build up for free. A small service but it was really such a nice gesture and it totally made my day. I paid for my oil change then threw in a loaf of bread and my favorite hummus as a gift =) Good tradeoff!

Mark and his crew have been servicing my car for at least 2+ years now. Every time my BF and I come here the customer service is outstanding and they are as prompt as you can get when it comes to oil changes. There are coupons you can use off of their website. I feel very comfortable putting my car in these guys hands. They know what they are doing and always have a friendly smile and conversation that comes along with the service. (Something that most other places never offer)
I was very happy with the service here. They were very nice, professional, and quick. Thanks guys see ya next time. Happy birthday to George.
It was my first time getting my oil changed outside of the dealership and I wasn't disappointed. The guys here were so helpful since I had no clue what I was doing and gave me a great deal. During my wait I ended up having a long convo about DC Universe with one of the guys who worked there and had a blast just waiting. Definitely coming back for the next change.
My dad uses this place for his car so I figured Id use the same place...and I have been for many years now. I'm always skeptical when I think about taking my car in for service. Ya know if you're a girl they probably automatically charge you extras for this and that cause you know, girls don't know anything about cars. I don't have any problems when I know its time for my car to be brought in. I check their website for any coupons and watch the mail for an specials. 2 days ago I had to get my car worked on. I brought it in as soon as the place opened. Right away I was greeted and they started the diagnostic test - automatic $100 there :0/ A few min later I am told whats wrong (cause my check engine light was on) and I had 4 issues that needed to be tended to. OK I said - now how much will that cost?? I asked how long it would take and that I had to pick up my so from school at 1. They said they could be done by 1 but I said no, don't rush. I so didn't want to spend all day in the waiting room of an auto shop so they offered me a ride home! I thought wow great! I was thinking I was going to have to walk home, boo. So George gave me a ride home and as soon as my car was done I would get a call. I don't know any shop that would give a customer a ride home while they worked on your car. So after my car was done, I paid (cringe) and used my internet coupon for $50 off. My car works great and now I'm not afraid to leave the city! Also he said if I have any issues to bring it back.Great shop and friendly people - do bring your car here (even if its for a simple oil change)!
Came here for an oil change because the place had really good reviews, and I was displeased with my last auto service center. I waited about half an hour for my oil change to be done. Better than waiting an hour at my last place. It was a bit pricey. I got 10W30 because my SUV has high mileage, and paid $45 for my oil change, but I agreed since the place got good reviews. The guy at the front was really friendly. One of the guys even came to me and showed me my filter and said it was really dirty, but for an extra $15, I'll go buy one for cheaper elsewhere. I asked him to check my starter because it was acting a little funny, and he said he would. Never got back to me on that, so minus one star.
I work really close to the tune up shop, so it's super convenient to leave my vehicle there and walk back to work. The convenience factor is not the only plus to this place. Mark, the owner, is a super nice guy. The first time I brought my car in, he was honest and polite. It's hard to trust car mechanics when you're a young woman. I never know if they're trying to swindle me out of my money with unncessary work, but I got a genuine feeling from him. Plus, he gave me a 10% "educator" discount. How cool is that! I've been coming back to this place ever since. I hardly see Mark anymore, so Jorge usually helps me out now and he's also friendly and honest. Quality Tune Up is my go to for my auto needs. I just wish they did alignment.
First come, first serve on oil changes. Service was fast. The guy told me its $20 for tire rotation even though their menu inside shows $15 for it. I was having second thoughts about this place.. But after looking at my tires he said I don't need tire rotation. How many car shops will tell you you don't need something? Props for that.
I've brought in my car several time for minor issues since I really did NOT want to to it myself (oil change, minor tune-ups, brakes) and the techs here really took care of the problems my car had. Too many places will try to take advantage of car owners but I don't get that feeling here. The last time I was here, the Service Tech suggested I change the fluid for the power steering. I am not sure it was really necessary but I DO know P/S fluid is not supposed to be that weird color the Tech showed me.Another time they took care of the brakes. I really, REALLY did not want to do it myself and spent about $300 to replace rotors, drums, pads, shoes. Was it worth it? My car stops without screeching like a 14yr old hitting puberty so yes.And yes, I have also changed the Fuel Filter myself a long time ago on another car. Which is why I let professionals change it now since making two trips to the parts store (wrong filter the first time :p ), one to Target to get some kitty litter to pick up the small gas spill on the driveway and wasting 2 hours going back and fourth to the stores was really annoying.Open on Sundays! Thank you!
My car started making crazy noises on a Friday evening and was so freaked out that there was something wrong with the engine. I wasn't able to bring it in on Saturday, so I had to try and find a place that was open on Sunday....which was close to impossible. Quality Tune-Up gets 5 stars, just for being open on Sunday when almost no one else is. Mark, who I think is the manager, reassured me right when I brought it in that it wasn't the engine and would be able to take care of it. Since I have a Saab, it's always a little funky getting it fixed and finding the parts for my crazy Swedish car so I rented a car thinking I'd need it a few days. Mark was able to have my car ready by the next afternoon, even with it needing quite a few random repairs. I was really happy with this place. They were efficient, seemed very honest, and best of all, were respectful and gave great service to both me and my mom throughout the whole ordeal. I also really appreciated that they didn't try to charge us for lots of things I probably didn't need just because we were women. Mark also offered for me to come in any time and he'd check all my fluids and top them off, free of charge. I felt very taken care of and was put at ease from the beginning. I'm definitely going to go back when I need an oil change or anything else and will feel comfortable knowing that I'll be treated with respect and like a valued customer.
I like coming here for times when I get lazy to do certain jobs like fuel filter changes (gasoline showers are NOT fun!) or for smog checks. The manager/owner Mark is a very friendly guy who will chat with you and not just tell you how much you owe. If you aren't comfortable doing your own routine maintenance on your car like oil changes, tire rotations, belts, and such this would be a great option for you. Naturally, they do try to sell you on small "add-ons" like power steering flush and fuel system cleaners, but I just politely decline.
