Just stumbled on this place. I was in and out in literally 10 minutes. The place was clean with waiting chairs and newspapers to read. Fees were standard pretty much standard for a smog check - $49.95 plus $10 certificate fee. Perfect !

I was sent to this particular smog test station for my Saab 9-3 because the first smog test station couldn't get my car's computer to "communicate" with their smog test computer. Richie is terrific - he was smart, friendly, the station was very clean and he knew his stuff. Had my mechanic not sent me here, I never would have gone here on my own as I think this particular Arco is in a sketchy neighborhood but Richie had clean chairs for me to sit on while I waited that were away from the noise of the gas station and after 20 minutes we were all set - I passed! whoo hoo!It seemed like he just opened his business here and moved it from a different garage but a bunch of people seemed to know him and stopped by to say hello or were waiting with their cars while he was attending to mine. He had to try the smog test a 2nd time in order to get the computers "communicating" here but I passed and that's the end of the story. Would definitely recommend this smog test place to anyone - he's fast, efficient, nice and the place is very clean and you won't be sketched out!
