the guy running this place is awesome! really really helpful and kind, to boot. here's the story: we had a 1992 miata checked up in san ramon, and the guy there said it didn't pass because "it's too old".um. any recommendations to make the car newer?anyhow, we took it to in and out and had it checked again after replacing an oxygen sensor. it still didn't pass because it has a header that's illegal in CA, not because it's polluting too much. this is good info to have, right? the guy running the place didn't charge the normal $58, he didn't charge anything at all, mainly because he felt we got screwed by the other place. i will go back here, for sure. and i'll go to all this guy's mechanic friends.totally great experience, highly recommended.
