$15 for an oil change!?! (comes out to $20 with tax and labor and disposal) but whatever. It's a deal! and they always have it done within15-30 minutes. The guys inside seem a little indifferent, but whatever, they get the job done quickly and cheaply.
This place is awesome! Its far from where I live but its soooo worth it! The owner is really great & gives fair estimates! My fiancee has a lifted truck & they have know problems working on it. Most places will try to charge more or say....."because your vehicle is bigger its going to cost more" BULL SHIT! I also take my truck there & no where else! Everyone whos looking for a good mechanic should go to Savings Auto :) Great service & fair prices! 2 thumbs up!
I had a smog check done with Savings Auto Care. It was completed in the promised time frame, the price was approx. $10 less than the competition, and the owner was friendly.
I came here for an oil change but I didn't want to wait so I said I'd come back. Later that day I did and he remebered that I was there earlier and got someone right on my car. 20 minutes later I was done and it cost less then $20 after tax.
I have been fixing and maintaining my cars for the past 20 years and don't have time anymore.The Bad: 1) Went there a few times to get quotes for the same problem. But, got different estimates every time and they also tried to talk me into fixing more things that were not necessary. 2) Last time, I got an inexperience mechanic who almost screwed up my brake but luckily, I was there watching and corrected him.The Good: inexpensive but it seems lately, their price went up to normal.
Honest, competent, thorough, and friendly. What more could you want in a mechanic?
