Very professional guy.  I assume he's the owner and the only guy that works there.I drove up, no one in line and no appointment needed.He literally did the smog test in 20 mins. Very straight forward guy, no BS, just honest and gets the job done.Failed the smog test since my car's ECU was reset cuz i had to disconnect the battery. So I had to drive the car for a day or two and he said i can come back for the free re-test and just the $8 to send the test results electronically. So, came back two days later, got the free retest in 10 minutes. 10 mins!!! thats insanely fast. no joke. dont forget the $20 off coupon to print out online too. def worth it

Fast, Friendly, and inexpensive. I called ten minutes before, and the tech said I could get right in. He was right.

Great place!I also had the recent misfortune of opening up my car registration renewal paperwork from the DMV and seeing the dreaded "STOP! Your vehicle requires a smog test" message at the top (for the first time, I might add). So anyway, I dutifully took my car here during lunch from work to get it checked out. Apparently they give employees of a certain neighboring software company a $20 discount (same as the online coupon), so if you're one of those, just flash your badge and save; no printing necessary! In and out in around 20 minutes. They have free Wi-Fi so I could send off a few emails while I waited. To me, Wi-Fi should be a standard feature of car repair places...right there alongside the three-year-old magazines and stale coffee. Why more places don't offer this is beyond me...

This is a convenient smog-testing option for people who are in downtown San Jose. I went there in April, and the test cost $50 with a coupon. The man who helped me was friendly, clear, and willing to answer my questions about what the numbers meant. The test was done relatively quickly while I waited (first thing Monday morning).

Very fast, professional, and clean. I got there on a Friday afternoon and didn't have to wait at all.You can call ahead to get an appointment and set the price.(I paid $50 as of Nov 2008).
