I've been here twice in two years for smog checks (my car isn't that old...), and this place is great. Straightforward fee (around $50 i think), quick service and no shadiness.I think it's hard to find a reliable smog center--the previous place I went to failed my car, but then I had it checked by a trusted mechanic and he confirmed that smog center was lying. I went to this place and it passed, so I knew I could trust them.
Khuong is the quick, most of all,...his shop opens early (8:30am).... I like it. The price is fair $45/- for my Sienna. I will come back for the next SMOG check.
I had the same experience as James Y. I got there at 11:40 on a Tuesday and was out of there by noon. I have a 2001 and he charged me $55. He was very nice and greatful for the business.

Khuong is very friendly and did all he could to ensure I that was comfortable before he went off to test my car. He immediately turned on a TV and VCR hanging on the wall in the office, so I got to watch a few minutes of Titanic on VHS. The TV was muted, though, so I couldn't hear anything, but I won't fault him for that. You can also pass the time by reading a magazine. Who knows if they're new, or not, but you only actually read those sorts of magazines when you're waiting for something like this, right? You could probably pick up one from 1998, and it would still be mildly entertaining. If fashion and/or pop culture aren't your type of reading material, there are at least a dozen official signs on the wall from the state of California that explain the legal stuff. For a first timer like me, they were interesting enough to keep me occupied for a few minutes. After setting me up with Leo and Ms. Winslet on the TV, Khuong made sure I wasn't cold. It was a little chilly that day, and the office door was open, but I assured him that my sweatshirt would suffice. Regardless, he assured me that it was okay if I closed the door if I got cold. I told him that I understood, and he scurried off to run the smog test. 10-15 minutes later, my car passed the test, and I was quickly heading back home.
My brother's registration was due the following week so we rushed on over. We were in and out in about 15 minutes.
Left work for an early lunch and brought in my car on Thursday, about 11:40am.Dude chilling under a tree talking on his bluetooth immediately hops up and directs me where to park.After filling out the paperwork which consists of name, address, and signature, I take a seat on a chair outside and crack open my new book. I only get a few pages in because the test is done in about 10 minutes.Total cost was $50 and I was back on the road before noon. Observations: There's indoor seating in the lobby if you hate the outdoors.Sign on the lobby wall states that there are free retests M-F but not on Saturday. Another sign on the wall states that there's a $5 surcharge for older vehicles. (The sign has the exact cutoff year, but I stopped paying attention after I determined that it's way before my car was made.)
Owner Koong quoted $55 out-of-door for car older than 1995. Lowered to $50 during negotiation on the phone. I didn't go.
Quick and easy $40 out the door smog test! Khuong runs the place and is a good guy.
I have been going here since these guys opened up shop 2 years or so ago My buddy had a shop right close to here so it was super conveiant for me to drop off the car and just walk back to his place anyways these guys are very honest no hidden charges or funny buisness like thatMy neighrbor had asked me a good place to get his truck smog'ed I sent him here and he was disapointed that he had kept failing the smog test but was very please at the service he recieved here i think i just turned these guys on to a life long customer this place is busy on Saturdays but pretty much the rest of the week you are in and out in under 20 mins
