This guy was really good.. Excellent service.. I forgot to take the coupon for the smog , but he still gave me discount..Best of all he works after 5, specially good for guys who cant make it from office before that. All the other smog checks (i had been to 3 before him ) that day, refused to take my car, even though it was 5:05 Great guy .. Thanks buddy
I really like how this place tells you the "out the door" price instead of ripping you off by saying there's a $20 off coupon but the total comes out to $68-- $68 for a smog check? REALLLY? So I got out the door for $40.20 including all fees. Also they were quick, very friendly and helpful and they provided free drinks while we waited. I'm definitely coming back.
Totally like this place. Dude is extremely friendly and attentive. Smog done quick and efficiently despite the cars lined up. Looks like the are many regulars here too. Two thumbs up even if there wasn't free wifi and snacks.

I had a great experience at Speedy Smog! Tony (the owner) provided me with quick, excellent service! The waiting area had a couch with magazines for me to read while I was waiting for my car to finish. Tony even offered me a drink while I was waiting, which I thought was extremely nice! He definitely knows what good customer service is all about!I went on a SUNDAY, which was nice because most smog places are closed on Sundays.The location is conveniently located next to the Santa Clara DMV, and the price was reasonable as well! I recommended Speedy Smog to all my family and friends!
Painless. Reasonably priced. Convenient to the Santa Clara DMV. Great service from owner (Tony).We recently brought in two different cars (on two different days, without appointments) and both experiences were consistently good. Each time Tony worked on it right away, and we were out in under 20 minutes.Tony was nice and efficient. You just park your car in the parking lot, hand him the keys, and he will take care of the rest. Their seating area is actually inside the garage, to the right a bit. There's a basket of magazines and a fridge of drinks he offers you for free. Don't get too comfortable though because you'll be on your way before you know it.Their normal Smog Check Fee is $34.95, plus $8.25 Certificate Fee and $2.00 Electronic Transfer Fee ($45.20 total), but they have a $5 off coupon on their website (http://www.speedysmogt...) so we only paid $40.20 out the door. Both times we didn't print out a coupon (our printer is not set up), but we flashed it at him on our iPhone and he accepted it both times (THANKS, Tony!). But I think if you can print it out he would prefer to have the hard copy. We live about seven miles away from here, and we probably pass at least a dozen other smog check stations on the way, but we feel it's worth the drive. The place may be a bit tricky to find at first, but it's worth looking for. It's located next to/behind the big car wash. They do retest for free if you don't pass the first time. We didn't have any problems with the paperwork at the DMV counter. (The entire DMV experience, however, is an entirely different story...)

Quick, reasonably priced, and close to the Santa Clara DMV.We recently moved to Cali so we needed to get our 2008 MINI Cooper smog checked. We wasted all morning/afternoon going to 3 other stations that assured us there'd be no problems but then gave up when their old equipment couldn't get a consistent rev reading on our car. Other places say a check takes "only 20 minutes" but they don't mention they won't even get to your car for another 50 min. Waiting an hour only to find out that their equipment is too old for your car is no fun.Speedy Smog was quick and friendly, and they have 2 different kinds of machines so you'll get a successful check no matter what car you drive.$29 + $8 + $2.50 ... very competitively priced compared to all the other places we went to and called that day.
