Really fast and a price was right. The only down side is that parking can be sort of a pain as there are busy adjacent businesses. The free carwash was an unexpected treat.

It just keep getting better. I took my other car in to this station after a great experience the first time. Keith was very helpful, very friendly and actually taught me some things to look out for on shady smog stations which were experiences that I have previously had! He explained my test resutls and gave me a coupon for a free car wash which is right next door. Can't beat that. I took a coupl biz cards for my two sons to go there. No waiting, no selling you gas caps etc, no repair work...just smogging! Awesome experience....thanks KEITH!!!
Recently took my car here to be smogged after getting a coupon online through a California Smog website. They smogged my car quickly and there was no wait. After the coupon the smog cost around $58 - it seems their prices are hiked a little to accommodate the coupon but regardless nice people and great service.
I can only echo what many have already said: painless, quick and inexpensive. Friendly guy instilled confidence.
This was my first smog check as I am a new resident of California. I went to this place because of the good reviews it received and overall it was pretty painless. I was in and out in 15 minutes (I went at about 10 am on a weekday). The total was $58 for inspection and certificate (that's with a $20 off coupon). The guy was nice, not too talkative, but that's ok. Minus one star for leaving my keys in my car outside of the garage as I was paying, would have rather he handed them to me and not left my car with the keys in them unattended. Overall good place for a quick smog test.
Having had to suffer through approximately 20 smog checks over the years- since finding Smog Man I will NEVER go anywhere else for my smogging needs again. Fast, courteous, and friendly. I've used them now four times. Every experience has been just as good, if not better, than the one before it. When I got my last smog, there came up a minor issue with the truck window - the owner dude hooked me up with getting it all taken care of to my satisfaction. No hassles, no grief. There was a problem and it was fixed. period. this is the way I wish I was treated every time I had to give my money to somebody. . .
I Might as well keep the good reviews for Smog Man coming. I needed a smog check and called Smog Man to get it done. They don't take appointments, but he said he was not to busy at the current time and if he did have a car being done it would only be about a 10 - 15 min wait. I arrived, waited for him to finish the car ahead of me and then I was up. Filled out some minor paper work, handed him the keys, registration, and my COUPON, and sat back and played on the blackberry for about 15 mins. He walked up, car was done all and I passed. Very upfront and painless experience compared to another shop I approached for a smog check. I think you only need to smog your car every couple years, so don't get hassled by others just take your car here and not have a worry.I will tell you for some reason while sitting there waiting for my car to get done I had an episode of the Seinfeld show stuck in my head. I kept wondering if he had the license plate on his car that read "SMOG MAN" like the when Kramer mistakenly got the wrong NY license plates "Ass Man"..
I had the exact same experience as Burnette on the same day. I passed on the wash due to time. This was my first smog check in a decade and I was surprised at how pricey they are these days. For $58 you can't beat the speed and efficiency of this place.
First off, my car passed! This is enough to make me happy. The price has gone up $10 since some of the reviews here...with coupon (and certificate) I paid $58. That was a small bummer. But the free car was really made up for it. They really did a nice job washing and quick-detailing my car. Worth a small tip! I tend to drive older cars which need the more expensive EVAP test, so it's hard for me to get a cheap test. And if I was bargain hunting, there are places where I could save 8-13$ or so. But this place is convenient, quick, and the car wash is the ultimate selling-point.

Got my car smogged there today, a Saturday, in the afternoon. I was expecting a long wait but given that it's Valentine's Day and people are preoccupied with all that lovey dovey mess, I might have been the only retard getting a smog check today. Cassandra [My 1991 Toyota MR2] and I were in and out in 10 minutes. I got to watch the guy do the test for me. He was nice and answered all my questions. It was fast, hassle free, and I'll definitely be back next time.
I had 3 cars checked here over the past year. All were done very fast and very professionally. And with the $20 off coupon, came to only $48! I drive 15 minutes out of the way to go here. As long as they keep offering the $20 off, I'll still keep coming.
Website gave a $20 coupon plus free car wash next door. I went when there wasn't a line and did not have to wait long. Just a typical smog test place. Just chairs in the waiting area.
All I can say is holy crap! You guys weren't kidding about fast service. I was in and out of there in under 10 mins for $48. You get a free car wash right next door also. You just can't find a better deal than that! Just remember to print out the coupon off their website like everyone else is saying. Update: Damn they jacked up the price to $58. Have to reduce to 4 stars for that.
I'm so happy with my experience here! The guy that helped me was friendly, and super fast. There's a coupon online for $20 off the smog service AND a free carwash at the place next door, and I was in and out of both in about 40 minutes, which was amazing because the carwash was totally packed. The regular price for their smog check is $59.95 and $8.00 for the certificate. I would definitely recommend visiting the website to get the coupon, especially if your car is as dirty as mine....it ended up being a great deal because I got $73 worth of stuff for $48. I would send friends here...actually I already recommended it to one person and I got it done like 2 hours ago. I appreciate the super speedy AND friendly service that they have.
