part of the fun of living in southern california is trying to find the "inside scoop" of where to go for your smog check. i'm not talking about not the guys who if give them a few extra bucks they will let your 52 chevy miraculously "pass", but a decent business that will give your car the test without any monkey business. well from my point of view it seems like the honest ones always seem to last only 4-5 years before they go out of business. my trusty mechanic jeff at palmer tire and auto repair (in highland park) gave me this referral. gotta say they weren't that busy and it was an easy 20 minutes of my time.
