These guys are straight to the point and do a good job. Thought my car was leaking oil, so i took it to them. They were pretty busy but told me they'll take a look at it that afternoon. They called me later and said that it was a bad hose and was leaking radiator fluid. (Thank God). picked my car up the next day. Now all is good in the world...except for Japan, Nate Dogg, and that angry squirrel that's attacking people in Vermont.
Went to have my brakes checked and I met an honest guy by the name of Gary. Thank you for helping me and not selling me things I dont need. I will be a returning customer.
They were perfect..easy to get in and out of..didn't wait long at all...smog check 49 bux...my Armenian boyfriend said I got ripped off but I think he was just pissed I wouldn't drive all the way out to El Monte to his smog check station..pshh...
Quick service, friendly, and affordable. I wasn't looking forward to the hassle of getting my car smoged, but the process was completely painless and hassle-free. Be sure to bring the form that is sent to you from the DMV.
Very friendly, honest, good service. Definitely go here instead of Pinky's down the road. The guys at Pinky are nice and helpful, but their prices are a bit higher. West Hollywood Automotive Service Center is a fast, no BS, place to get your car serviced.
I have been going to West Hollywood Auto for several years now--must be 8 at least. Joe and Gary are honest and a pleasure to deal with. They've always been able to fix whatever problem I come in with in a timely fashion and for a reasonable price. In almost a decade, I've never been anything but a satisfied customer. I highly recommend them!
When you find a mechanic who is both very good and very honest you stick with them. I have been dealing with Gary and Joe as my only mechanics for the last 20 years (yup, 20) and they have never let me down, not once. The work they perform is quality, the prices are reasonable and they never try to fob off some unnecessary work on me. They listen to what I say and respect it. These guys are great; do yourself a favor and go see them.

I recently took my 10 year old truck for SMOG REPAIRS as they are an APPROVED CAP PLAN smog repair shop. While I had NO money for smog repairs, Gary who helped me assured me of the appropriate diagnostic tests. I told him that I had no money and that I would be using FOOD money to pay. Happily, I came back at the end of the day and paid the $100.00 copay and $10.00 for the certificate. I was thankful not to get ripped off and I want to thank Gary and his team for making me feel comfortable when this is the last thing I needed to spend any money on at this difficult economic time.
Joe & Garo are great guys and so is the crew. Fast service, Good prices, Honest and stand behind their work. Wish they worked on motorcycles too.
West Hollywood Auto is owned and operated by armenian brothers Garo and Joe. These guys do a great job, they're honest, and they're very experienced. Give 'em a 6 pack of beer and they'll do an extra good job for you! I highly recommend West Hollywood Auto on Melrose and Gower if you need some work done.
